Magpie 117

"I'm stuck in the middle," said Sue.
"And I don't like the look of this stew.
I've no knife, spoon or fork,
And these guys want to talk.
And I'm dying to go to the loo!"

(With thanks to Tess at Magpie Tales for the picture)

  2. Frances, you always look on the bright side. I'm always seeing the urchin under the table. Thanks for the morning smile and happy Mother's Day!

  9. Forget about the romance of impressionist art..... let's just cut to the chase..... the discomfort of the model in the middle!! Delightful, Frances! Thank you for sharing. =D

  12. Thanks everyone, I just wish I could write the serious, thoughtful poems that other Magpie followers (eg Yvonne) manage. But I'm just not clever enough.

By the way, over here, Mother's Day was in March!

  14. I think that you undersell yourself Frances. Your wit is clever and amusing and apt.
